At the center of this set is Blood Moon Water gathered beneath the total lunar eclipse of March 3, 2026. It is held in a 17 ml corked bottle, sealed beneath red wax, and finished with a crescent moon.
Beside it are three iron nails passed through fire and bound together with red thread, and a selenite wand wrapped with sage grown and dried at House of Ravenstone.
This is not simply a collection of separate materials. Each element holds a distinct place within the spiritual architecture of the set.
THE MEANING WITHIN THE MATERIALS
Blood Moon Water carries the energy of culmination, revelation, transformation, and release. A total lunar eclipse temporarily darkens the moon before returning it to light, making its water especially suited to threshold work: acknowledging what has reached its end, confronting what has been hidden, and making room for what must come next.
Iron has long been associated with protection, strength, grounding, and the establishment of firm boundaries. Nails carry the additional symbolism of fastening, securing, and holding something in place. These three nails have been passed through fire—an element of trial, purification, and irreversible change. They were not merely warmed by flame; they came through it.
Selenite is associated with purification, clarity, and the movement of stagnant energy. It is often used to clear a space, an object, or the atmosphere surrounding a working. Within this set, it serves as the point of clarity: clearing what does not belong while allowing the intended purpose to remain.
Sage carries the spiritual meanings of cleansing, protection, wisdom, and restoration. The sage used here was grown and dried at House of Ravenstone, giving it a history rooted in a particular place and tended by human hands before it was ever wrapped around the stone.
Red thread represents protection, vitality, courage, blood, and living intention. It binds the three separate nails into a single working, joining strength to purpose and holding the protective elements together.
