Three forms of protection gathered for the threshold season—water, salt, and iron—prepared and assembled by hand at House of Ravenstone, then left for the owner to place, carry, keep, or use as they choose.

Every component in this set is made or prepared here in small batches. The ritual salts are blended by hand; the ash and char are gathered from the Ravenstone hearth; and the remaining materials are homegrown or thoughtfully sourced. No finished ritual blend is purchased and repackaged.

Black Salt draws in and contains.
Red Salt strengthens and warns.
War Water confronts and drives back.

Black Salt

Black Salt is traditionally used for protection, banishing, and the removal of unwanted influence. It may be placed at a threshold, used to define a protected space, or incorporated into a working meant to absorb and contain what does not belong.

It is the salt of refusal: what crosses this boundary without welcome goes no farther.

Red Salt 

Ravenstone Red Salt carries a more active form of protection. Associated with fire, courage, strength, and determined will, it is used to reinforce a boundary and give force to an intention already chosen.

Where Black Salt removes and contains, Red Salt stands watch. It marks the line and declares that the line will hold.

Each salt is sealed beneath a rose formed and painted by hand—black for containment and refusal, red for courage and the living will to hold a boundary.

War Water

War Water is not ordinary moon water, nor is it intended for gentle cleansing. Rooted in defensive folk practice and built around the protective nature of iron, it is traditionally used when a boundary must be unmistakable.

It may be used symbolically to guard a threshold, turn hostility away, break an unwanted influence, or declare an end to something that has been permitted too close for too long.

Ravenstone War Water is made for protection, separation, and firm boundaries—never for causing harm.

Black Salt contains what must leave.

Use the pieces together or separately, according to your own practice. The intention—and the boundary—remain yours.

Each salt vial is finished with an individually formed clay rose, hand-painted in red and aged gold or black with metallic detail. Every rose is made by hand; variations in its petals, shape, and painted finish are part of the piece.

For symbolic and spiritual use only. Do not ingest. War Water and ritual salts may stain, discolor, or corrode surfaces; use with care.

• One 5 mL glass bottle of Black Salt - Topped with a handmade/hand-painted black rose with silver highlights
• One 5 mL glass bottle of Red Salt - Topped with a handmade/hand-painted red rose with gold highlights

Because each component is prepared and filled by hand, natural variations in color, texture, sediment, and appearance are part of the piece.

Warning: Not for ingestion, extremely hot, homegrown peppers were used in the making of the small batch salts.
