Protection — Botanical Incense Burn Form
Protection, built from the center outward.
Protection is not added to this piece after it is made. It is the reason every material is there.
Each Protection Burn Form begins with a Japanese sandalwood incense stick at its center. Around it, I hand-apply crushed sage, rosemary, lavender, and rose using a natural plant-based binder.
The botanicals are not bundled around the stick or added simply for appearance. They become part of the burn form itself—built to burn with the sandalwood as one complete composition.
Every ingredient holds a place within protection:

Lavender — peace, rest, and gentle protection

Rose — protection that can remain soft and still have thorns
The sage, rosemary, and lavender were grown and dried at my home. The roses were selected and hand-dried by me. Each burn form is constructed individually in small batches, so its shape, surface, and botanical pattern will be its own.
The fragrance is warm sandalwood beneath green, herbaceous notes, softened by lavender and rose. But fragrance is not the point.

HOW TO USE
Place the burn form securely in a heat-resistant incense holder or a fire-safe bowl filled with sand.
Light the exposed tip and allow the flame to catch. Gently extinguish the flame and allow the incense to smolder.
There is no prescribed ritual. Light it with prayer, intention, or silence. Use it while tending an altar, marking a boundary, preparing a room, or simply creating a protected place of your own.
What you choose to do with it remains yours.

PLEASE NOTE
Every burn form is handmade. Natural variations in color, texture, botanical placement, and shape are part of the object and not considered defects.
Botanical material may produce loose ash or a small ember while burning. Always use an appropriately sized, heat-resistant vessel on a clear and stable surface.
FIRE SAFETY
Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not touch or move while burning. Allow all ash and remaining material to cool completely before disposal.
