Anger rarely begins with fire.
Anger doesn’t start loud.
It starts quiet — a slow, steady accumulation of things you were asked to hold.
It begins with what settles: the words swallowed, the apologies that never came, the boundaries crossed, and the truths a person was expected to carry quietly.
This jar gives the slow burn a shape: black sand for everything that accumulated, dark mirror fragments for the moments you saw clearly, silver foil for the restraint that held under pressure, and red fibers rising through it all.
The anger may have had a reason. It may have marked a boundary crossed or something you could no longer stay silent about. This piece makes room to acknowledge that without asking you to live inside the feeling.
Keep it where you can see it. Put it away. Set it down. Bury it, break it, or dispose of it when you are finished with it. The ending is yours.
